Our Firm

Design Concepts & Associates, Inc. was established in 1974 to provide space planning, interior design and decoration services for commercial, corporate, governmental and institutional clients. Over the years, we have integrated these design experiences with complete architectural and engineering services in order to offer our clients a comprehensive design package. Our firm's client list includes major developers, government agencies, as well as many prestigious national, regional and local firms.   Today, Design Concepts is known for it's experience in space planning, facility management and design and project management because we maintain a coordinated, "hands on" approach to each project we do. Our in house staff and facilities provide us the means to accomplish all aspects of any project, from initial conceptual design to the production of complete construction documents.   Having been the first firm in Tampa to integrate a Computer Aided Design and Drafting System (CADD) into it's operating structure, Design Concepts has been able to offer it's clients very reliable graphical presentations of their projects. All aspects of a project, including space planning, facility management, furniture inventory, project management and building construction documents can be easily and accurately updated and revised with minimal effort and time.

From it's beginnings, Design Concepts & Associates, Inc. has maintained the principle that each project, no matter how large or small, requires a comprehensive management approach. Each aspect of design and implementation must be evaluated against the overall economic and asthetic requirements of the client. In addition to the interior and architectural design services provided directly by our firm, we have established long lasting relationships with numerous consulting professionals, allowing us to coordinate a complete "start to finish" design package for our clientele.   We at Design Concepts take great pride in our ability to respond and adjust to the needs of each of our clients through new and innovative advances in services and technology. Because of the experience and diversity of skills our staff has gained over the years, we are able to offer each client a very flexible and extensive approach to their project needs.
